days become weeks, weeks become months, then before you know it almost a year has gone by. I don't know how it happened but it did. I have been in Illinois almost 1 whole year.
In two months my brother will be married! Wow I never thought that would happen ;-)
In a few days my mom will be here for a visit. Then in 22 days I will head back to Michigan for a visit, hopefully with a friend of mine as well ;-) I'm still looking for a suitable job. Working for CHS freelance interpreting is good but no guarantees of work. I know everything is in the Lord's hands... but not seeing where you're going or the outcome of all this sometimes feels like wandering around in a basement with the lights off, and you're feeling around for the staircase. I just want to get to that bottom step ;-) then I know I'll be going in an upward direction right? heh heh. At least I know that there is someone better than I in control of my situation :)
